Drive Sports combines obedience skills, impulse control, relationship and behavior/manners all taught through Game.

 

The Sport is a Hounds Grounds exclusive and created to bring more relationship and confidence into pet dog owners lives while also fulfilling a dogs drive.  Drive Sports is a competitive sports Club that combines a dogs love of  game using the tug toy, flirt pole, a ball, or spring pole with sharp behaviors, obedience, impulse control, and relationship.

This is dog training that allows and encourages a dog to express themselves how they love.  While also allowing us to teach high levels of obedience and control.  We start with Level One basics and advance through a point system and completion of skills into  Levels Two and Three.  When you have completed these Levels you can go into tournaments to compete with the top teams in the sport.

 

Through the levels you will learn basic to advanced obedience including focused heeling, middle, guard, stand/sit/down stays in motion, through legs and many other advanced obedience, positions, fun extras and more.  You will learn to teach your dog how to toggle from an aroused state of mind to a calm state of mind during the game, the "on"/"off" switch.  You will work your dog mentally and physically, fulfill your dogs needs - specially those dogs filled with what seems to be endless energy.  And, above all, you will build a relationship with your dog unlike any other type of traditional pet dog training would come close to creating.

We will then add you into our Private Group for  Level One.  There you will find the rules, regulations, point system and how it works..  You can upload videos, photos, ask questions and we will help you work through trouble spots.

All dogs must be crate trained.  We welcome all breeds and sizes, we also welcome dogs who may be struggling with behavior issues.  Dogs compete one at a time.  Dogs that are waiting to compete are resting in crates until their turn.

​
